I have the Tremor wheels and tires on my FX4. I got them from a guy who purchased a new Tremor and immediately upgraded to new wheels and larger tires. He claimed they had @ 10 miles on them. Initially, I was getting vibrations from them like the tires were out of balance. I had a Road Force Balance done on them and they have been fine for the last 7k miles. The Road Force Balance was worth the $100. This is the first set of General times that I have owned. My only complaint is the reduced fuel economy.

Did you know there is a bed light button down and left of the steering wheel?? Thatd be 2 things you learned today! If you already know it then Sorry!.... thought I was on to something there!?
Thanks, but yeah, I learned that the day I replaced all bulbs up there with LED's.

I've got 65k miles on my General Grabber ATx's and they've been decent tires overall. I've got a little bit of vibration when going over 80ish. They're noisier than what I prefer and need to be rotated often, but traction in wet/snow has been good in my experience. I've still got a decent amount of tread... likely will be replaced around 70-75k miles. Biggest issue was the rocks that they threw during the first 5-10k miles of use; every time I touched gravel they picked up huge rocks and flung them in every direction.

I've been pleased with the Grabbers that came with my 21 Tremor. Quieter than they look and surprisingly sticky for an off road tire. They are more aggressive than I need and I'll likely replace them with a more highway focused, better mileage, tire when the Generals wear out.

I didn't know Tremors came with Grabbers...I have General Grabbers X3 285/70-17 and they seem acceptable even at 80mph...a little noisy when there's no radio on but otherwise pretty good for mud terrain...
I believe the grabber atx’s are the standard for tremors and bronco black diamond trim.

Mine are... ok. I will not be replacing them with another set of grabber's when the time comes.

They started off super quiet with good traction in sand, rocks, wet and winter. I now have 31 000km's on the truck (19 000mi) and half the thread is gone. The started humming pretty bad over 80km/h (50mi/h) and the wet traction has noticeably decreased. Sand and rock is still good.

They always sucked in mud and are wearing very fast. I know I tow and off-road a lot, but I was able to get 100 000km (60 000mi) on my BFG K02 doing the exact same thing and rotating them on the same schedule, every 8000km (5000mi).

I will be looking at BFG K02/3, Toyo AT3, Cooper AT3 LT, Firestion destination XT and Baja Boss A/T next year when it's time to replace the tires.

It is important to do the cross rotation on the tires and that will keep them from getting noisy. Most every dealer shop I've encountered lately does not cross rotate per the manual. They simply move the front tire straight back and the back tire straight forward. A few rotations like that and the tires will get really noisy.

I’ve ran P rated grabber atx for years. They are smooth and quiet in my opinion, quieter than grabber at2, and decent ride at 30-32 psi. I’m on the second pair on my fx4, first pair lasted 50k miles and got noisy and lost snow traction when down to the wear bars. It could be something with the LTs or higher psi. Or perhaps your alignment

I had my 2012 Focus when I realized my dealer did not cross rotate, and I made the mistake of rotating them myself. The tires had been on for a while and probably several rotations already. They almost immediately started making noise. Moral of the story, if you are going to cross rotate, start doing it with the first rotation.

Agreed. Lucky for me, one of my tire has a patch and I can keep track of how they do the rotation lol. They cross rotate.

I bought 265 70 17 General Grabber ATX (I believe the P Rating). I loved them for the back roads driving, but after 30,000 miles they sound like a M/T while on the highway. I've been religious with rotating every 5k and monitoring tire pressure. Thinking of Falkens when these fail inspection.

I've got a set of 265/70R17 in Hudson Valley, NY if anyone is interested. 4 have 300 miles on them and one is new/spare.

While I replied earlier to this thread figured I'd add this piece.

Jason's comment is a good example of why I do my own tire rotations too.

Just rotated the Grabbers this morning. This is the second time since owning my Tremor. Rotate them every 5K miles. So far they are wearing evenly, and actually wearing very little. While doing the ol' tire inspection this morning I saw zero concerning issues. Can already see that I'll be getting many, many miles out of these tires.

As to noise, no complaints so far.
