Anyone else think the next gen trucks (4G ranger, new Taco, new Canyon) are WAY overpriced with crap gas milege ?

But, "midsize" trucks will never become 'full size' as those continue to grow.
It's true, my '21 Ranger is only slightly smaller than my '95 F150, but still called 'midsize' because it is in between the smaller (Maverick, Santa Cruz) and the larger (F150, GM 1500).
On another forum, someone compared the dimensions between a 1950 F-1 with a 5G Ranger. The Ranger was quite a bit heavier, and more powerful, but pretty close to the other specs. An Explorer is pretty close to a '46 Ford Fordor.

Is this still a thing? I looked at the '24 XL STX. It seems the trailer tow package still doesn't have a brake controller. You have to get advanced tow package for that, and it's not available on XL STX.

Edit: Now I wonder if a new type if TBC will have to be developed for the 6G.
