I have the rear seat cover. Very nice quality, but the universal fitment means it does not really work well with kids needing arm rests and whatnot. Decided to just take it out.
I've seen a person on Facebook put a Boss Stainless-Steel Plow on his Ranger. I believe Fisher makes a homesteader blade for it as well. I'll probably price those out when its my time to look for a plow. (Or just buy a old F250)
I'll jump in and say I will not be replacing my pair of General Grabber ATX with an identical set...
I have plenty of tread after 30k, but the MPG suffered, loud and need rebalancing frequently.
I am eyeing the above mentioned Michelin LTX and maybe the Falken Rubitrek
I have the AVS Low Profile Vent Shades on mine. A little less than pleased. After 1.5 Years I had one need to be taken off and reattached. Thinking in-channel if I replace them
I bought 265 70 17 General Grabber ATX (I believe the P Rating). I loved them for the back roads driving, but after 30,000 miles they sound like a M/T while on the highway. I've been religious with rotating every 5k and monitoring tire pressure. Thinking of Falkens when these fail inspection.
Jumping in on this thread as I now have developed this 'seagull noise'. I had multiple factors I am considering, but this thread gave me some to think about. The noise developed after a service (trans fluid, tire rotation, alignment, sparkplugs and oil change). I did have the window rain guard...
Hello! A few random things I found via this forum and trial and error.
1. Those pests do not like peppermint. So I mixed some peppermint essential oils and warm water and sprayed it around the areas I noticed they liked to mess with. (Moth balls did not work and just made the truck smell)
2...
? Those are some great options, but Maine law really suggests I don't do that within my condo (houses are arranged in a circle so a house would always be behind the shot)
Hey everyone, wanted to see if anyone has any tips for a recent issue.
I just moved to a new place (condo with shared parking area) which has lots of pine trees. This fall I noticed the red squirrels had started putting pinecones, leaves and pine needles in the engine bay of the Ranger (XLT...
An interesting issue that I'm starting to notice. My truck just popped that code last night on my way home from work. I had mine undercoated last year without issue and again about a month ago. My only concern is even without undercoating the top of the tank gets dirty and that sensor will be...
I had the old General Grabber AT2's on a few of my old trucks over the years. My main concern was not offroad capability, but overall tire quality. I put a 2.5" Rough Country Level in over the winter and decided now would be a good time to upgrade the rubber. Honestly quite happy with the...
I know I'm jumping on this thread a little late, but I just had my ranger done with NHOil Back to Black System. I like the quality, the smell is not too bad. Pricepoint was fair as well.
I thought I saw a photo not long ago of someone mounting a plow on their new Ranger. Looking at Fisher's Website I notice they have two options listed for the Ranger, a Homesteader plow 6'8" and a 7'2". Wondering if anyone else had any luck. I know I've seen articles about it not working.
Curious if anyone has purchased a Headache Rack style rack for their trucks?
I saw this Deezee Rack on CARiD and was wondering if anyone has experience.
I notice they have a Mesh Style one as well. Figure there will be drilling involved.
I decided on the short term to buy a bed-extender system. Went with the Yakima Longarm for its adjustability. The truck looks a little funny hauling around a 16' Canoe. Still looking for a system that lets me use my tonneau cover without spending $2000.
Just brought the truck back in for a Works Package Treatment. I had them look at the seat again and they said they spend quite a while and used some materials on it. Said there was a TSB on the issue. We shall see if it officially fixed it.
