I think I might be close to the low mileage record. Bought my Ranger at the very end of May 2020. Just checked my Ford app, 2878 miles. About 350 of those miles were from a trip to visit my father in West Virginia last year.

I would be afraid to drive my Ranger if the bed was full of Raptors. It would have no miles on it.

Um…I think I’d be more afraid to drive around with giant peanut M&M’s in my truck bed. You never know what crazy M&M eating maniac might follow you around. ;)

Retirement truck, paid cash, 2019 XLT 6600 miles bought it off the dealers lot in Feb 2020. I may have that many miles on my New Balance walking shoes I bought about the same time. Only recall was to check the climate fan motor. Hoping the gas and oil issue will iron itself out tho. Oil change #2 coming up shortly and a oil sample being sent to Blackstone.

I bought my truck March 24th with 8mi on it. Currently at 9,250. If I have my truck 5 years from now, I'll definitely be pushing 100-110k miles at that time. I aim to keep my vehicles 200k or 10 years, whichever comes first.

I searched high mileage and lots of threads came up.
I read through many of them.
Here is a somewhat more recent one:
https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/ford-ranger-long-term-reliability.15724/page-9
.
But I chose to post in this one because 100,000 is probably all I'll need until I get to drive on roads paved in gold.
.
Anyway, of all the reading I've done I want to point something out. Most people in forums post complaints. So, if thread after thread is people posting having lots of miles with no major issues, then we can be comfortable knowing that the issues are really far and in between.
.

Hi Folks,

It is projected that Tito will inherit a low mileage Ranger...

So not likely a 100K Ranger in my future...

Best,
Phil

Does Tito need a trustee?:D
Hi Steve,

In fact he has a Trustee. He has a page in our Revocable Trust that directs the trustee to write a $500 check, tape it to his shell and made arrangements for him to be placed in the Tuson Desert Museum's Tortoise adoption program...This ensures he will be in good hands in the future. The Desert Museum will inspect and insure the family is suitable.

Note...it is not uncommon for a Desert Tortoise to have 3 or 4 or more custodians during their 100+ years on this planet. They predate the dinosaurs by a Million years.....

Best,
Phil
