I worked 42 years as an electrician and I agree, wonder & crow bars have a well earned reputation and nickname of wrecking bars. The reason I even mentioned it when I bought mine BAK had a video on their website showing some guy on a security camera struggling to break into the bed of a truck...
Line-X spray in bed coating was included as part of the new truck sale and this is my 2nd truck with it. I have noting but praise for their product and professional installation.
As far as the cover goes mine is the Bak Revolver X4 and also is an excellent product. Not 100% water proof or dust...
We bought a add on bidet when TP was scarce during the beginnings of covid to cut down on paper use. Keep in mind the pressure is adjustable so you don’t need to go full throttle wide open at 100 PSI and give yourself an enema. ?‍? Some folks wipe then rinse but I’m the other way around, wash...
I have the 2019 and I installed that same device shortly after I got the truck in early 2020. I used the video as a guide and they do make it look much easier than it is. I think it took me about 15 minutes to install it. I do enjoy not having to push the button every time I start the...
One oddity I still have and it may not be a Sync 3 problem is I have a wireless Bluetooth adapter (CPLAY2air) so I don’t need to plug in my phone every time I’m in my truck. There are times when I’m navigating with CarPlay and I also plug my phone into a USB port to keep it charged on longer...
2 1/2 hours later Sync 3 update is done. According to the service advisor guy it took longer to work it in the que than to update it. Hopefully it is problem free now.
My truck goes in for this this morning. I’ll post info on my experience and details later. I took a picture of the About Sync screen so I can compare before and after info.
After plenty more digging, using my Milwaukee Hackzall with a 12 inch pruning blade and my chainsaw (goodbye old chain) the Ranger and I were successful.
Hard work and took some time but I’m not one to shy away from hard work. I think if it would have been a 4 wheel drive it would have come...
Has anyone attempted to pull a tree stump out of the ground with their Ranger?
A old 14 ish inch cherry tree died and I cut it down with a chainsaw and I’m wondering if I might be able to pull the stump out with my 2019 Ranger. It’s a 2 wheel drive with factory tow package and I do have a...
I had to do a hard reset once, maybe twice. Screen simply went black and I was worried the head failed but I did research and discovered the hard reset technique and it solved that problem. I’ve also have had the entire head just freeze up before. Seems like when it froze it would resolve...
I can tell you from personal experience helping to fight rodents at a family members house neither the sonic devices or spray did anything. Old fashioned mouse traps, sticky paper, poison and screening to exclude entry is what worked.
It always worked previously and is again after I pulled and tested fuse #9 which in a sense rebooted it. I truly believe it was locked up/frozen until it was restarted by the fuse removal.
Another update!!!
I pulled fuse #9 inside the cabin and with a volt ohm meter I verified the fuse was good. I reinstalled it and rechecked with no success. I cursed a few times and went onto my appointment. At a stop light I rechecked to see if the modem was still offline and much to my...
Update… sorta My modem ESN number is not showing in the setting so I checked the #9, dual 10 amp fuse inside the cabin with my ohm meter and it’s good. I’ve Got to go to the dentist here shortly so when I get back I’ll try a master reset and hopefully that bring it back to life.
As I think back, about a month or so back my infotainment screen went blank like it crashed. I don’t remember how I got it working again maybe when I restarted the truck next it was working again I just can’t remember. Possibly something with that. I’m going to check the modem display number...
