No, I meant it. I put the lowering kit on it. Well, just the front and never got around to lowering the rear as I didnt want ot get into modifying the exhaust.
I do see that the strut hat is the same part number from ford. Just wondering if I can put the 4x4 struts on as finding the 2x quick...
Are the front struts the same between 2wd and 4x4? Looking at pictures isnt doing me much good.
I have a 19 XL. Some time back, i put the eibach loweringkit on and, have decided to go back to stock.
I ask because some orgs list different stuff for 2x and 4x and others just list one part number
I have a complete plug and play setup. I replaced the 3in screen with a 7in touch screen radio. Maestro, mounts and all. Still for sale if someone wants it. Only selling because I came across a killer deal for an oem big screen.
PM for more details
I didnt think that far in advance and cussed a wee bit and used my gerber multi tool.
The worst part for me though wasnt the clips it was getting the hoses off of the tubes
@Superdannyboy Well..... it was definitely bad. After doing the lowering kit and, getting new tires, I guess it stuck out just enough to kiss the tire.
So I finally got around to scanning the truck with ForScan and, its the front left sensor. Im fairly certain the sensor is just bad and not anyhting fowl with the plug so, i'll just replace it.
I was wondering about the quality of Standard vs Motorcraft. I have a Standard Motors warehouse down...
Is it pretty straight forward, using forscan to locate the faulty sensor?
I've used forscan when I replaced my cluster and stereo from XL equipped to XLT equipped.
