The gauge needed both a constant power and a switched power source, so I used a Micro3 add-a-circuit to Fuses 21 & 22 for my switched power, and another to Fuses 8 & 9 for my constant power. There was an additional and optional orange wire to tap into a headlight-switched power source that would dim the gauge when the headlights turn on, but I didn't see a viable source for that in the BCM and so I did not connect that wire.
Thanks

I FINALLY replaced my EGR sensor!!!!

I've had one sitting in my garage for MONTHS!

It was the $19 version from Rock Auto that doesn't have the hoses. I ended up ordering another from eBay on a lark that was $32 and had the hoses and clamps. It looks exactly like the OEM part except for clearly having the Ford logo lasered out on the back of it (you can see the bottom of the "F" in the Ford script pocking out of where they lasered it out).

I'm going to pull the hoses off the stock sensor and stock those on the Rock Auto sensor thats on the shelf and put that away for the future.

But now I need to add something to my "NEED TO DO" list:

DRIVE IT!

Because I work from home, I don't really drive that much anymore, and I'm starting to get the battery warning messages on my dash and phone. Starting this week, my wife will be driving my truck to work once a week just to keep fluids cycling and the battery healthy.

I recently did my brake pads and rotors (F & R). I recall posting that it would be a project to do over the Christmas holidays. 🤦‍♂️

Shame!

I still have to replace mine. I bought one so long ago I lost it, bought a second one, found the original and now they're both sitting in my toolbox.

Here is a suggestion as far as just getting out and Driving it. What my late Grandpa would do is, if all of the farm work was done. He would tell me, my Grandma and my two older cousins. Ya'll get in the truck and let's go for a drive. Referring to his Old Blue F150 farm truck. My 2 cents.

I just did similar except I used the ebay hoses with the Rock Auto sensor and shelved the ebay sensor

My sensor hoses were perfectly fine. And once you change the sensor and use regular clamp hoses oriented correctly, the next time around is a 10 minute task. Simply remove the sensor from its mount (1 screw), then loosen the hose clamps at the sensor, remove it, plug hoses in new sensor and tighten clamps, then reattach it to its mount. 10 minutes!

This. Except I live in Boca Raton, FL - there has not ever been a time I've been on the road where someone hasn't almost wrecked me doing something stupid. 🤣

In the first 9 months we lived here, we were involved in 3 not at fault collisions. 🤣

Okay, I was not aware of that. Be careful out on the roads. Take care, and be safe.

Still can't be as bad as it is here. Thank God the snowbirds are gone now.

This was just a couple weeks ago (no other vehicles involved) going around a round a bout. 🤦‍♂️

I do need to have front brakes done. There's also random sound coming from the driver's side & it sounds exactly like when you drop broom stick on concrete floor, or mop handle or something. I think it's coming from the rear leaf spring? I need to figure it out. It drives fine, but it's annoying as heck. lol

Oil change and tire rotation next week. Thumping sound maybe from the rear that sounds like a sway bar bushing when it's worn going over sharper bumps. Going to have my shop try to figure that out as well.

Hopefully you don't have one of the broken leaf springs as seen on this forum.

Or those U-bolt bolt nuts that become loose. :(
