For me I like to get the best mpg out of any vehicle I drive. If you have any drive in you at all like I do it is hard to keep my foot out of the throttle, so there goes the mpg. So what's your hardest? My past truck was an 92 F250 4x4 super crew with an 8ft bed 460 ci. auto only got 10mpg so I am still better than that with a lot more fun.

Agreed, with it being a turbo, the moment you get into boost the MPG just completely drops. A few times at WOT and your tank MPG average is unrecoverable lol. I sometimes wish I didn't have the average MPG ratings staring at my face so that I'm not constantly looking at it.

Definitely hard to NOT put your foot into it too often, spooling up the turbo. That is SO much fun, but it really kills the mileage quickly.

It's really hard for me to drive one because I have yet to make my purchase yet
Every time you need to go to the store take one out for a test drive. You'll get the hang of it.:like:

For me, the hardest thing to do is go above 2500 RPMs. It's so new and nice I don't want to wear the engine down and the MPG's in driving that way is good. Also when I make turns I take them real slow to not put excess wear on the tires. LOL, I have only ever owned 1 truck and it was in high school and a 1963 GMC 1/4 ton rusted to the gills with a 383 stroker. I hammered that truck and then had to get rid of it, driving cars for the last 23 years I have forgotten what it's like. I'll get over it once at some point and start driving it like its meant to be driven.

Above 2500 RPMs is where it gets FUN!!!!

Actually, below 2500 is fun too - I love driving my truck - but spooling the turbos up really puts a smile on my face.

Act my age! A young guy driving a Chevy Cruze was beside me at the red light. He kept looking over at my Ranger. When the light turned green I smashed that pedal down!!! We "raced" about 50 yards till I had to turn off. I was ahead by the way.:sunglasses::giggle:
