Mines similar to that too. I usually drive straight in so when I have to load my truck for work the night before, it's easier and more room with the garage door open. I use my bed extender when I'm carrying a 6' step ladder and I can just barely close the garage door like this. These garages out here are small especially if you're putting 2 vehicles inside them. But like you said at least they're inside and not out in the dust and heat.This is all the room I have. Backing it in lets me get out without banging the door on the wall. There's only about 5" clearance between each mirror and the door frames when I drive in.
But I can get it in and that's good enough for me.
