I think it went sideways because some of y'all asked too many pertinent and pointed questions.

And then it went off the rails as most of our threads do after a certain amount of time.

But have you noticed on THIS thread there's not yet been mention of tailgate dampers or 303 being at fault for the wrecked engine? Amazing!!
It reminds me of the camper thread where the OP confused FTW! for WTF? and away it went. Mainly because I was caught in the crossfire. Hmm, come to think of it, what’s the common denominator here?

I’ll let myself out….

I feel like im ZERO at fault here... I already miss Jenny and would like to know the outcome of her unfortunate situation...(and what REALLY went on so im not doomed to repeat it...) I will wait a few days and if no word, I will start my cross country run... well, cross living room limp in my case, but still, it will take effort...

Thank you for that, I just spilled hot coffee down my front. But I guess that just brings me into balance as my eyes were already burning.

Well, I'm going under the knife on Monday. Getting replacement parts in my neck, so I may have to wait to see how this plays out.
Well good luck and I hope all goes well for you!

That sounds serious Tony. Hope all goes well.
I sincerely appreciate the kindnesses, thoughts and prayers. The ranger5g group is a rowdy fun loving group, with kind hearts. I've had a lot of fun here and learned a great deal.

Getting synthetic discs between C5-C6 and C6-C7. Both are ruptured and compressing the nerves to my arms, and a few to my heart / lungs, as well as spinal cord.

Going in through the throat. Will stop the increasing numbness in both arms before I have permanent nerve damage. It is crazy how simple tasks become not so simple. I wake up with my ring and pinky fingers numb on both hands. Then have shoulder and arm tingling / burning pain all the way to my palms during the day.

I've got excellent doctors, one who pioneered the technology and assisted getting it medically certified through the FDA. 1.5-2 hour outpatient surgery, but at a major hospital in case of complications. I go in at 8am for prep, surgery at 10am, home by mid to late afternoon.

Then a neck brace for 6 weeks until the bones fuse with the plates. Should regain all mobility.

Seems driving that tractor off a 5' terrace wall ~18 months ago did more damage to me than I thought. Also discovered a 20% tear in my left rotator cuff. Hoping PT will manage that.

At the time my doctor told me that I was lucky to have survived the accident.

Anyway, it is all going to work out one way or the other. My faith in Jesus Christ sustains me through what ever comes.

If all goes well, I'll be back online in a week or so, maybe sooner. The hard part is going to be sitting still for 6 weeks. And I am sure I will quickly tire of that neck brace... but my bride will spoil me rotten.

Sending nothing but good vibes your way. Hope you knock it out of the park with your results and recovery!

Yea, go ahead. Play that “who me?” card. If memory serves, it’s very often one of your posts that starts me down the path of uncontrollable laughter as a thread begins to go off the rails.

Yea, Mr Innocent. Right.

This is only the second motor to blow up that I recall being reported here and on the other one, “it was all the mods!”

I hope it gets covered.
IT is getting replaced with a NEW engine.
