I worked at a Ford store in the 90's Had a customer that had constant brake problems with his F150. The truck got lemon lawed and he bought a different truck. My dealership bought the truck from Ford. I worked on the brakes and repaired them. Dealership sold the truck and there was never anymore problems with it. so yes, the truck can be resold. Don't know all the legalities tho.

Normally, it is repaired and sold in another market (like Mexico) to avoid a lot of issues.
Some recalls forbid sales outside the country, Dieselgate for instance.

What’s bad is less that half of the states require a branded title. Buyer beware.

Or unscrupulous Dealer service possibly padding a warranty claim... sorry i'm just a skeptical person when things seem odd, very odd.
Good Point.
I had a 2006 Honda Pilot superb car which had the factory extended warranty. Nearly everytime I took it in for a oil change they came back and said fixed AC problem, fixed main seal, happened maybe 4 times. Got it back the same day with no delays. Apparantly they could R&R main seal in a couple hours.... NO doubt it was dealer thievery.
