Think I’ve decided on that size tire. Looking for something not quite as aggressive looking. Anyone care to post pics if they have this size? On oem wheels if possible.

Sub'd. I'm pretty sure I'm also going to go with this size. :sunglasses: It looks like at least a 2" level is going to be required for the fronts to fit without rubbing.

I was looking into a more aggressive tread (for aesthetics only) after the spacer lift.
But when looking at my Platinum White with the chrome package, aggressive tires would not look good IMO.

I have more of a "Luxury Grand Touring" set up. So I would be looking for a slightly larger tire that's soft and quiet,

I know I won't get 60K on the type of tire I would use Maybe 20K, In either case, I won't have 20K on in three years when I will look at the new small pick up redesigns. I am not brand loyal. I just buy the best vehicle at the time. This time it was the Ranger. Next time....jury still out/

They will fit fine totally stock without a level if you were putting them on stock wheels.

Check out some of the photos that @AzScorpion has posted. He’s running that size and it looks great. I’ll be running the same size in a few weeks when my winter tires are on!

2.5" Rough Country Level kit with Nitto Ridge Grappler 265/70/17 on stock sport wheels. Absolutely no rubbing and minimal mpg hit around town (about .5 mile).

Stock wheels? What are those?! Yeah I guess they would, huh? I think I just feel like it would be necessary anyway since I don't have FX4 suspension. The rake is so noticeable on the XLT stock setup.

Really liking how the raised white letters look on the BFG KO2. I'm sold! It looks great!:like:

To me that’s the perfect setup for a daily, just enough to look different without compromising fuel economy and comfort.

Aren't the KOs a bit heavier than the Gen Grabber ATX?

edit: looks like only a 2lb difference with the lighter load rated tires. However looks like the mileage warranty is better on the Generals and they are about $50 cheaper per tire plus there's a $100 rebate 'til oct 31st.. The BFGs look better but only by a small margin in my opinion.

Is there a big difference from 265/70-17 and 265/65-17 (Hankook-factory)? My Ranger was ordered with the latter and there was no interference issues at stock height. They're for sale BTW:wink:
