Went for a short blast over to the Cheesy Monkii for a delicious cheese burger and fries. Once again, it was Ford night at the food truck.

An Escape, an F150 King Ranch, my Ranger, and a great big honkin’ F350 Super Duty King Ranch. Man, that thing is big! :D

Finished up my 2000 mile road trip Today. Got home and promptly emptied the truck and bed of all gear. Probably 300 pounds lighter. Took everything out because I’m dropping it off at the stealership to have that shudder checked out. I think it’s the slip joint issue, but we’ll see. While it’s in I’m having brakes done and drain and fill of the brake fluid. I’m guessing it will be with them a few days.

Small dump run, six foot bed for the win! :handsinair::bandit:

All dump run photos must be forwarded to David/subquark for verification !!!
As the resident "Dump Expert" he must check photos for quality control, accuracy, and content. :like:
Must be done prior to posting photos as no "fake" loading of the bed is allowed....must be legitimist "dump stuff" !!!
You can by-pass this step by posting photos of you, your Ranger, at the dump. A vid of you actually unloading is even better !!!:whew::inspect:

They charge for using the dump ??? WOW !!!
Ours are free, including general trash/lawn stuff, separate area for metal. separate area for appliances, separate area for electronics, and oil/auto fluid. Only thing that requires payment is tires...$2.00.

Took her up on a very washboarded dirt road to get to a trail head we like. Hiked a 7 mi loop, gained about 1400’ (2000+ if you count the up and down). Up to 30lbs in my pack these days, good sweat before we reached the top.

When we got back she was covered in dust (normal), the double wides go drifting through the turn where she is parked, kicking up all sorts of dust.

No complaints, she just does her job. I pampered her today with a wash and filled a few more chips up front with the Mr. Colorchip kit.

I love this truck.

Lucky you. Ours is $205/ton for C&D and $60/ton for brush. There's a full page of listed items with prices for each.

On the other hand, household trash, recycling, oil disposal and grass/leaves are no charge beyond the $35/year sticker. They also have this beautiful dark sandy loam that they make out of the brush that's free. As much as you can load up. I'm top dressing my lawn with it this week now that the monsoon has left the area.

On Saturday, F100 Supernationals and all Ford Show. The good- $10 entrance, 630 some vehicles. Great people at show, family oriented. Some great looking trucks, blue 1990 Ranger with 289. Guy spent some time on engine compartment layout, really clean. The bad - convention center add $10 parking, no outside food or drinks. $3 bottle water, $3.50 soda and Gatorade. All electronic payments NO CASH.

Took the truck to a local car show today – there were some cars I hadn’t seen for sometime. It was invitational only so there were some really nice vehicles.
