I needed a way to mount my GMRS mic, HAM mic, and inReach Mini 2 out of the way. Dash tray was the only thing I could think of, so... here is the new dash tray. The rail is 67 Designs, the arms are 1 cm Bullet Point Mounting Solutions, the left mic mount is from Jeep Uniq, and the right mount is from Bullet Point. The Icom 2730 uses a hook style mount while the Midland MXT 275 uses a button style mic mount.

Here is the whole setup reinstalled in the truck. The inReach does have power ran to it. This does not obscure my view out the front, even though this picture makes it look like it does. I just took a nice long drive to sell my old bed rack and had no vision concerns.

Gives me hope I can sell my bed rack soon.

Don't forget that they fit the Tacoma, Colorado, etc. Yours will fit the Tacoma with a 5' bed, they would just need the mounts. I sold mine to a guy with an F150.

That we are ? Hi today during the install was 77°.

Intercooler came with their boost hoses. Unlike other brands that use a hard pipe on the hot and cold side, the Mountune uses a hard pipe in the section with the BOV. From then on to the Intercooler and the cold side it’ll be a reinforced hose.

I'm interested to hear what you think after you've driven it for a bit. I've been looking at charge pipes.

I don’t think there’s any downside to changing out the factory charge pipes for some aftermarket. Being able to give the air a smoother, less restrictive run to and out of the Intercooler is only a benefit.

I took a short drive yesterday to make sure all the connections held up. Got into boost quite a few times. From roll a as well as almost a complete stop. I didn’t initially feel a big difference until I put the shifter in S. While rolling around 30-35mph I got into WOT gradually and I certainly felt more of a push into my seat. Now everyone’s experience or feel may be different based on how their truck is built. I’m running 33” KO2 on method wheels, steel bed rack with roof top tent, prinsu rack with two awnings, and the Rigd Supply ultraswing with a spare method and KO2. So my truck has quite a bit of weight to it. Sound I couldn’t tell you much since I also run a Mishimoto Snorkel, so my truck already makes quite a bit of noise at WOT.

Spent 2-3 hours using wool buffing pad and some good ole' cerium oxide on my windshield to remove scratches left by my little too aggressive application using #0000 grade wool.

It didn't do **** to repair scratches

Installed my grill lights. I may repost a pic taken at night. I had to use some 3/4 bushings and new longer screws to get it installed instead of screws that came on the grill. The grill on on the tremor or my model year must be different than what was used to fabricate the lights. Easy to install once I got all the parts from Ace.

"Installed" the ShurTrax traction aid which was a pain because it kills crawling around on my knees, even on the BedRug (plus I'm a special snowflake, so ya know ...).

I cut 6 braided cords and placed four up front and two in the back. If it moves any, I'll add two more to the rear.

I filled it with 3 gallons of RV antifreeze and then probably 28-32 gallons of water. Not really sure, just filled it slowly until it looked about three inches thick.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BV9MA2

gathered the stuff together on a lovely 36° afternoon, wrinkles mostly worked out overnight after leaving it inflated with air

precut lengths of braided cord and used the red funnel placed in their blue hose adapter to pour in the antifreeze. my slanted driveway and our poorly designed bed rake made the filler higher and allowed for a less sloppy fill job

their filler was a pain to thread on, but it works and comes with the basic kit (I didn't get their tie-down kit or super siphon), but the Super Siphon might be a time save come spring - it connects to the hose and creates a suction to empty the bladder

here it is filled and the material is pretty thick - I won't worry about puncturing it (they make a repair kit if you do) and I'll likely coat it with 303 Aerospace Protectant when I fold it away

tried to park level on the street to gauge how think it is, seems about right around 3 inches

I took out the gas can from the passenger front and snow chains from the driver front and made them even easier to reach. you know me, I love chains and if I see one flake, on they go! =p

Update: The Swingcases clear the bladder, phew! =)

Installed some L track as well. Still waiting on my other toolbox. Mine arrived from Ford with a broken hinge and had to send one back.

Love that L-track! Having ties at the top makes a whole lot of sense. Always envied the European Rangers with those bed hooks.

No pictures because my Ranger needs washing, but put new tires on this week (Michelin Defenders), & bought him a new battery (no problems, husband just thought it was time). I’ll post pics after I run through the car wash.?

Nice Tracy, how many miles on the old tires? And you remind me, my battery also is getting old, I'll have to think about a new one (Dec 2019, over 4 yrs).
