Any Truth to This Regarding Disabling Stop/Start

Just found on Autoevolution that if you push the Stop/Start button 120 times you can disable the Stop/Start permanently.

What is factory mode?

My Goodness, just plug an old, useless AC/DC adaptor in the 120v outlet and be done with it. And it's easily reversible.
