    The threads are not the same between the FL500s and the FL910s. When I was changing the explorer oil, I had both filters in the garage and grabbed the wrong one. The 910s wouldn't start on the 3.5L filter housing.

    These aren't 2 piece like the old 3V 5.4L, correct? Those were expected to break, but these... Makes you wonder if there was a defect or foreign material in the metal.
