Remote start finding

I reflected back to my issue with the Horn / Lights Icon.
It has always been displayed but was cut off ( on the bottom half of the icon)
played with the Zoom setting on the phone and then it displayed normally.
I wonder if you were to remove the app and reinstall if it would fix the issue of not being displayed, as it appears the extra icon was added to the app sometime in 2022

That's normal. You cannot remote start more than twice without at least putting the key in the ignition, turning it to the on position and then turning it off. Sometimes mine will do that even if I remote started only once...not sure what's up with that and sometimes it doesn't work at all. But I will say my app has been working a lot better these last few months. Better than it ever has actually. And now I'm probably jynxing myself, lol. My system must have updated recently because now my truck has to remind me on the screen that it is a WiFi Hotspot now, and it does that everytime I start the truck. Maybe that has something to do with it. It updated automatically and I do NOT have the big infotainment screen. Just the small XL screen and I actually like it a lot.

I am wondering if Ford did a model selection.
If you have a Lariat or the later years Tremor then it's there.
Some XLs might not have options available.
XLTs have multiple options and may not been included in the app.
Be nice to see on the forum what models and years have the Icon.

I’m working on it - Ford called me back! ? All on their own. It seems my 2019 XLT should have those icons and they want to figure it out. They had me update my iOS and will call me back to go over some Safari settings and then likely a Sync3 update…LIVE, in my truck - hoping this happens tomorrow.

Pretty ironic don't you think? You have questions/issues with the Ford Pass app. And Ford proactively calls you and wants their team to sort it out. But how many "transmission issues" members of our wonderful little forum have had a proactive call from Ford?

Honestly, sounds like some shit my employer would do. Priorities corporate America. Priorities.

Actually, I won’t be starting a new thread. Ford is certain it’s because it’s a Canadian build but that doesn’t explain why @fob63 doesn’t have it.

I’m more inclined to think it’s tied to MY and Electronics pkg. I have the XLT 300A (bare bones) package - not sure what Bill might have.

For those that asked and sent well wishes. Got staples and catheter removed yesterday. Pathology reports shows surrounding areas are cancer free. And, NO INCONTINENCE ISSUES!!!! Praise the Lord. Now for more healing and recovery time. Still can't drive or sit in straight chairs. Who knew you could get doctors orders to stay in the recliner? Lol??

And, wife drove truck across town and remote start works again.
