Never found the hood switch location.... But I doooo have one.

Got the Start-X installed... took about 12 minutes. So far so good!

I've been happy with using Fordpass to remote start my truck, but when in areas with bad cell coverage, this would be an ideal backup. Thinking about it, for sure...

The ford pass was too inconsistent for my liking.... I tried using it for 3 weeks as much as possible to see how reliable it would be. it would tend to be slow to start and sometimes not work at all. Ford pass will be my backup option to the start-x.

It's slower, yes. But I like being able to start my truck from the third floor of my home which is way outside of the range of my key fob.
