I had to do the same thing a couple of years ago when I bought mine. I believe it has something to do with the 128 Bit encrypted code that Ford introduced in their later models.

You can setup DRL modes in ForScan. I setup DRL mode for parking and fog lights on. There are many posts here on how to.

Does anyone know if this grille is in two pieces? What I mean does the inner section remove from the outer surrounding bezel? I have the magnetic gray trim around grille. I want to keep it to match the rest of the trim but have the FORD inside.
