Returned home from a 2 day adventure that involved 14 hours of driving and nearly 1,400k. About 15 minutes from my destination and check engine light and service lights come on. Info centre says to refer to the manual and service vehicle soon. Power seems low, truck is now struggling to get past 90k/h.
Pull over and turn it off for 5 minutes. Restart it and the lights are off - great. Get 100 feet down the road and everything lights up again.
Struggle to get the truck 15km to the dealership that changed the oil a couple days ago. Open up the FordPass app and see something about the turbo - awesome! Dealer isn’t sure when they can look at this. The recent polar vortex crippled a lot of cars and many service centres are pretty booked up. Service writer asks if I need a rental and immediately coordinates that for me.
Putting kilometres on a 2023 Dodge Ram until this is repaired.
