As @VAMike said, the lashing straps are useful too, for lighter stuff. I use them a lot to keep lumber from sliding around. Something like these:Thanks so much!

You can get all sorts of straps at Harbor Freight, however the quality is not great. For light loads I've found them to be fine - for the ratchet straps or heavier loads, I'd look elsewhere. I bought a set of "Goodyear" ratchet straps at Home Depot a few years ago and those have worked well.
