New to reloading, my first batch of reloads. Using a Hornady LnL turret press with Hornady dies. Hornady 9mm XTP 115gr, 5.3gn CFE Pistol, Fiocchi Primer, COL 1.075. Waiting on my FMJs to arrive so I can get those loaded and head to the range.

sigh.... damn range brass. Accidentally picked up some off brand brass from Serbia. smaller flash hole than WIN brass. Primer was stuck half way deprimed, couldnt advance the press, this is what happpens when you force it...smh

As a Ruger fanboy, i would not recommend a Ruger pistol to an inexperienced shooter. Bought my wife a Security 9 last year and had to spend some time with it to make it work for my wife. On the other hand, i carry a Ruger SR9 that has been flawless since i bought it in 2012.

Yes, they used to be a tad cheaper as a complete unit I believe. But it makes more economical sense for end users to only need to buy the part they need instead of clogging service lanes for module programming.

I have had the Destination LE3 on my truck for less than 1k miles. They are excellent in all weather conditions but being a harder compound, my mileage did take a hit. Coupled with .75" level of the front end, I seem to have lost over 1MPG. Oh, and I dont go offroad at all.

Watch your inrush current. It won't be too bad with LEDs but with relays and other loads, it can play a factor. Your circuit should always be rated for 125% load.

The BAP includes blacked out fender badges. I've never seen smoked badges, OEM or aftermarket.
