Hi,

Little late here, but in case you are still watching this thread. Is that a 2WD ranger? and how much did you lift the front?

Thank you,
Mark
Hey Mark

Yes it was 2wd and it was a leveling kit on the front dont remember the exact measurements... possibly inch and a half... maybe two??

Of course someone would bring this up right as I go to get new tires. Stock bridgestones lasted right at 25k.. almost exactly. I saw the thread hit the wear bars just before it rolled over; now I am at 25,036 miles or something.

I was just gonna throw stock size back on (different rubber).. but now this..... but at least the price difference isn't much so - yeah.. two different options on calibrating the tire size. Me thinks I am going bigger.

Also it seems that I was running my mouth about people posting the pictures of the bigger tires on stock rims about a year ago now.... ... . so they did last a bit longer than I thought. Time wise; not mileage.

Firestone Destination LE3s. Mine is a highway truck so nothing crazy. It was going to be in the next day or so but some issues came up and I had to push the install back a bit.

I replaced mine with under 24K on them. They would have lastest a few more months but winter was coming an I didn't like their snow performance anyway. The Nitto Grapplers have 21K on them an they look great. I think the 265/70's fill the wheel well better an look "correct"

Anyone know how these tires will fit with a 17 x 8.5'' wheel? Looking at 265/70/17 Tires. Trying to go for more of a flush fit with no rubbing. Dont know if I need a 17 x 9'' with -12mm offset. or if I can stick with 17x8.5'' 0mm offset

I have a standard 4x4. no FX4 Kit.

those will fit all 5g rangers with stock 17 inch rims in stock form. no lift needed, no rubbing etc. 265 70 17 bfg ko2 is the first thing i did to my 5g.

Ok thanks. I am looking at aftermarket wheels too. So I guess I just stick with 0mm offset.

Hey, I have a similar truck. Even down to the color. Do you have any wheel rub on the front?

I’m looking at replacing tires this fall, but I didn’t know if I should do a front leveling kit.
