Two of my neighbors bought new RV's. One a class A and one a class C. Both have been in for warranty work more than they have been used. Waste of money for them.Pre covid they weren't the best and now they're really bad! But when you step-up to a class A that's in the $300,000 range I expect it to be near perfect. Not 3/4" MDF wobbly tables, loose cabinet hinges, all the knobs and pulls were loose and a bath door that doesn't catch the striker plate and you can push right through the door stop.
I know most don't know/see these things but boy, they're in for a huge surprise once they buy one. There were only a handful of travel trailers and as expected they were the same or worse. They only had some Winnebago Mirco Mini's, a few Jayco and 3-4 Sundance. Most were bunkhouse models (which we weren't interested in) but just looking at the build quality reminded me when we did a HUD housing project back in the late 80's.![]()
