We'll be watching for your transmission issue thread next. :crying:
I thought about that, but it's a '19 and still under warranty.....and I ordered a '24 when the order banks opened up in May. She's had zero issues since new.

Holy crap! That's a serious root ball and even more serious work you put in!

Even though your awesome Race Red Ranger was able to yank it out, it's all your back-breaking prep on those gnarly roots!

Well done and well earned! =)

Thanks David...my 71 y.o. body can feel it today! I got pretty deep around the roots, chopped a few big ones but was surprised to see some biggies were deeper when I yanked it out. Cracked my mattock handle, ? so off to the hardware store today.

I should get Pepper a TAFFR decal, but afraid to explain it to the grandkids? and a correction, she's an Awesome Hot Pepper Redhead!

Thought I’d start a thread to post about what you have done with your Ranger today or any day for that matter!

Be it hauling, towing, off-roading, mall crawling, grocery getting, tire roasting, flexing on Toyota’s or anything else.

If you did, it let’s see it!
Well, last night I got my window shades and tailgate lettering so installed those in about 20 minutes. Today, I towed a disaster relief chainsaw unit for about 10 miles. First tow other than my boat.

Truck looks iconic in silver David! And that trailer sure leveled it out, but it's not hunkered down?

Did a bit more truck stuff - short visit to Home Depot to pick up three prehung interior doors and a few electrical items for my reno.

No pics but on the way, I stopped at Tim Horton’s and had coffee with @LaBalbe - I guess you might call it an impromptu meeting of the GTA Shadow Black Ranger club.

It was fun to meet another forum member and talk trash about the moderators and such.

We went to State Farm Stadium to check out the RV show. It's 109* out so there's no much else you can do and it's nice and cool inside. They had vey little for travel trailers but a lot of class B&C's and diesel pushers.

Man having been in construction for 40 years it's hard looking at the junk they're trying to sell for $300,000! The tables are barely 1" MDF and wobbly, cabinets barely shut and/or are super cheap, loose moldings that don't even line up straight and bath doors that don't shut. One I pushed right through the door stop while trying to close it. ?‍♂

Now you know why we owners refer to RV's as "cracker boxes" !!!
We picked up our 2022 Jayco in March of last year, and it's only just recently I have finished attempting to fix/repair/correct the manufacturing booboo's/mistakes/oversights that came with it from the factory. Now it's just ongoing maintaince.
To own one of these things, you MUST be a DIY'er !!!

Steve,

It sounds a lot like cottage ownership - something always needs fixing and usually leads to the discovery of something else that needs attention.

It seems that old or new, no matter who built it, there’s always something.

Even these folks spend too much of their time fixing things…

Pre covid they weren't the best and now they're really bad! But when you step-up to a class A that's in the $300,000 range I expect it to be near perfect. Not 3/4" MDF wobbly tables, loose cabinet hinges, all the knobs and pulls were loose and a bath door that doesn't catch the striker plate and you can push right through the door stop.

I know most don't know/see these things but boy, they're in for a huge surprise once they buy one. There were only a handful of travel trailers and as expected they were the same or worse. They only had some Winnebago Mirco Mini's, a few Jayco and 3-4 Sundance. Most were bunkhouse models (which we weren't interested in) but just looking at the build quality reminded me when we did a HUD housing project back in the late 80's. :surprised::shock:
