Best of luck.

The level of damage will help you decide.

Is it a driver dropped the ratchet on the roof and it dented the middle, or did they drive the truck into a overpass sign....

What color is it? While they are repainting check the rest of the truck for damage they can fix...

OP, I had a similar experience a few years ago when I bought a Charger. If you decide to take delivery of the Ranger, you should ask for "diminished value" as, if you were to trade in the vehicle tomorrow, you wouldn't get as much money for it because there would be a hit on the Carfax as having been in an accident.

I’d have “lawyered up” in your case. By not disclosing that damages were repaired to your “brand new” vehicle they lied to you. But….. that seems typical with manufacturers and dealers.
Dealers do not have to disclose repairs up to a certain amount defined by individual states.

there's a ton of google information out there.
Basically there's a threshold where the dealer should inform you of shipping damage. For example, exceeding $3000, or 2 adjacent body panels damaged.
If below $3000, they can fix it and not tell you. Its not being deceitful, its nature of the business.
Shipping damage happens, and a reputable dealer should be forthright with any damage, even if it's just stone chips. But we know most aren't and it sounds like legally they don't have to.
Those waving torches and starting a march towards the dealer should cool it.

It's not like you would know if something was damaged and replaced at the factory either.

Also, as someone who understands there are legal limits to everything there are also unwritten moral limits.... It might be legal, but does it make it right. But that goes into areas we probably don't want to delve into here...

Depends on the damage and if they are willing to compensate you with discounts or incentives. But one thing almost certain is that if you decide not to get THIS Tremor, you are not going to get a new Tremor. So, do you accept the damage, repair and a discount, or do you start looking at something other than a Tremor?

One thing you must do, is take a look at the damage. Just to be sure that it is in fact damaged and not the dealer trying to discourage you from buying it and them selling it to another buyer at $10K ADM. If it is damaged and you don't buy it, my bet is the dealer will repair it, add ADM, then 'discount' it to the next person interested in buying it.

My 2015 Edge had a ding on quarter panel, when I asked salesman about it he said it will be repaired good as new. When I picked it up it had rubbing compound splattered about, and they couldn't do paintless repair so it was body worked and quarter painted. The car was blended from quarter into roof and looked terrible. After a heated discusion they replaced it with another one. I don't think I would want that Ranger if they have to do any type of restorative work. An accident after you have driven is one thing, taking delivery of new vehicle that has been repaired no.

There are lots of Tremors on the Ford lots around here, go on the ford website and see if you can find any within your travel area.

There is ALWAYS a paper that you sign in the stack when purchasing that states the vehicle may have had repairs for transport damages or from mother nature etc . Most people just start signing away without reading what they are signing.
Just dug through the “stack” I signed. Still looking for that one.

I know my last one was on the same form that they had me check the box that I was offered but declined the extended warranty . The first time I remember seeing they had started doing that was my '92 Mustang purchase and every dealer since has had it . May be just an Albama/Georgia thing though as that's where all my new vehicles have came from.

Oh I was furious, but despite that and them taking 1K off my trade in... I decided to follow through.

Waited 8 months, and my F150 was leaking ATF... Hell with paying for a $1,500 repair whilst paying $480 a month for a used truck.

I'd say no thank you.
ME TOO, NO THANKS, YOU CAN SHOP AROUND, EVEN GO TO A DIFFERENT MANUFACTURER FOR A TRUCK THAT'S ALREADY ON THE LOT. DOESN'T HAVE TO BE A 2023 RIGHT, THEY ALL START WITH THE SAME WARRANTY IF NEW
