I'll take my "lame duck" 5g Ranger over a four door Bronco any day of the week (especially that ugly soft top!).Yup, Fords already made it clear they're trying to clean up as many Bronco orders as possible. That's why they wanted customers to change their orders (AGAIN) to something that doesn't have all the constraints. Basically a 4dr, soft top, non Lux, non tow, trim below the Badlands model. So spend $40k-$50K on something you don't want. ?
But then the next article was this. lol Obviously they're trying to get them built before the Ranger and also it's not hard to improve sales in '22 when '21 was so bad. lolYeah, when you start your article with, “As many are already well aware”, you have nothing new to say. ?
That's why I gave up on my order. If I wanted a 4dr I would've ordered it back in 2020. Plus I think the soft top is hideous and doesn't do anything for the look of the Bronco. But then again the second hart top is cracking too so it's only going to be a warranty nightmare until they get this straightened out.I'll take my "lame duck" 5g Ranger over a four door Bronco any day of the week (especially that ugly soft top!).
They're all built at MAP. Ford is clearing everything (Bronco) off the books this year. Starting next year any outstanding orders will have to be reordered. At least that's the last news I heard but I don't go over to B6G much lately.Aren't the 5G Ranger and Bronco built at the same plant? Will the 6G be at the same plant? So, will 6G Ranger production be sidelined in favor of Bronco?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Clear as mudYes.
I think so.
Probably.
You missed "Maybe" then "I don't know."Yes.

No doubt 6G Ranger will be wallflowered. The obvious bias here notwithstanding, They should close 2023 Bronco orders, build 6G Rangers as much as possible, while building Bronco parts inventory, jacking up Webasto way high and get the MIC hardtops figured out. Jeep uses the same company without all the problems.Aren't the 5G Ranger and Bronco built at the same plant? Will the 6G be at the same plant? 3 questions. 3 answers. What’s not clear?Clear as mud
They do have the option of adding another shift I believe which would increase total production. Whether they opt to do that or not is anyone's guess.Aren't the 5G Ranger and Bronco built at the same plant? Will the 6G be at the same plant?
