Any special steps required with battery replacement?

The driver's door power window needs to be recalibrated for the auto up and down to work. Look in the owner's manual for the procedure.

I've not looked - when I changed the battery in our C-Max I had to hook up FORScan to reset the battery life indicator. You couldn't do it via the menus. Does anyone know if our Rangers have a similar batter life indicator? It knew exactly how old the battery was when I replaced it.

Don't forget to calibrate the Damper afterwards!! It could become a little soft if you dont!!

Yes the BMS tracks battery life and must be reset when battery is changed.

No damper taint. No calibration required.

I followed the process in the 2nd video, 5 hi beams, 3 brake pumps, and it seemed to work. Thanks seasprite.

Now I'll look up the window thing...

That is a bog no no!! Just imaging how many modules would.have been taken out it that have been done!! Especially with the coat of each one not counting the possible delays to get them!!
