Yes it is, so with my newly-atrophied arms from @AzScorpion's evil damper spell, I'll probably drop the hood on my head struggling to use the prop rod!

So Live Free with a Damper and Die.
Sorry about that David. I had an idea while driving today, I'm going to add a gym membership with every damper bought. This way you can balance out the atrophy on you pencil arm and won't hurt yourself while doing other day to day stuff.:muscle: ?

My 1999 Tacoma I bought the Red Line hood struts for and they still work great after 23 years. I still have that truck. I like the lower bed for bark dust and stuff like that.

Just take pics on an older ranger, see how its mounted and fabricate some. Get a strut the same length from an auto parts store. Seems to be easy enough to do. I would assume. Hoping the new ranger i ordered has so.e but i doubt it.

How cool is this! The owner of Redline answered back with the same info as above:

Hello David,
Thank you very much for reaching out to us. We have a Bolt-In system designed for the Ranger however we are having difficulty finding one local to us (Ann Arbor, MI) to bring in for a photo/video shoot for our instruction manual. Hopefully someone from the forum takes advantage of our offer for a free Hood QuickLIFT system to come in for a photo shoot as it only takes 1 ½ hours total. We have Hood QuickLIFT systems designed for over 350 application and would love to add the Ranger to our offerings.
Have a great weekend as well!
Regards,
Andreas Keller
Owner
That's awesome that the owner of the company actually answers E-mails! I have had their Hood Lift system on my Mustang for over 10 years with zero issues! Hopefully someone will visit them soon and they can get these out on the market! :like:

Well it's not like I open the hood very often anymore. I prefer to drive my Ranger or my Yamaha especially with the high gas prices. I have had three vehicles to drive or ride for the last 20 years. I am kinda spoiled. The insurance and tags are what is killing me.

I wish Redine would make some replacement for the 2019-2021's. I have an early '22 and if they would be cheaper than Ford's then I would rather buy them. Especially with the reputation they have of durability.

I'll kick in 10 bucks...If 6 more also kick in, will you go?

Also, pertaining to this subject...Can anyone with a 2019 that has the Hood dampers take a couple of pictures and post them?

Let's start a fund raising campaign to get gas money for Steve so we can get this done! :like:
The pressure is building ?. I just emailed Redline to see if they are still looking for a vehicle and if so would they cover gas. I’ll let you know what I hear back

Send everyone a 3 lb dumbbell. It’s the equivalent of the workout we are missing out on.
