What did you let go to get your Ranger?

?? thanks Dave, no injuries except my pridr. I got hung up on my driveway(300 foot up the hill behind the f150) and was using my come-a-long to winch it back in the road. Come-a-long broke. Truck rolled down hill, over a bluff, then to the creek. No one injured. Vehicle was empty. 24k damage. They wouldn't total it because of current market values ?. It worked out in the end. I traded the truck for more than book value.

I could get a tune but I'm more than happy with the factory output of the ranger and the fuel economy! Plus t 39 I don't need another truck to drive like a stock car, I need to remember I teach high school, I'm not in it lol.

2018 Escape SEL. Downsized from a 2015 Flex.
It was to be Mrs Motorpsychology's daily driver and I got the 2009 Mariner. I was still driving OTR semi at the time and only drove four wheelers about 6-7,000 miles/yr. Mrs M hated the Escape and we traded back.Then I started reading about the 1.5 EcoBoost 4 having a lot of instances of coolant leaking into the #2 or #3 cylinders. I also was wanting to ride my motorcycle in other time zones, but less enthusiastic about riding 2500 miles round trip to the mountains (insert your favorite mt range here) plus riding around once there. A Ranger Supercab quickly made it to the top of a two truck list; GMC Canyon was a viable but distant second.
Sold the Escape to Carvana and never regretted it, and would deal with Carvana again in a heartbeat.

I traded in my 2014 Subaru, bought that new and it burned oil and had valve float issues. Dealer claimed all that was "normal for a boxer motor". So with 20k miles on it traded in for my Ranger and it gets the same mpg. Never going back to Subaru ever again and never going to any thing not a truck again.

Sold my 04 GTO , when I gonna miss that car, but had no need for the speed at this chapter in my life. Also sold 03 F150 with 225,000 miles. That truck deserved to retire.

For my 2019 XLT, sold my 3rd Ranger, a sharp 2004 XLT SC 4.0 5 spd w/ about 92k miles. An old dairy farmer bought it for his grandson, who wasted no time wrapping it around a tree!
