19 F150 4x4 sport supercab with 5.0. I miss that 395 hp and 400 ftlb torque but the ranger is way better on gas and much more maneuverable, plus it hasn't been wrecked.

Wow Mike hope everyone was alright in that accident? You could always add a tune to your Ranger and get pretty darn close to those hp/tq numbers.:D

?? thanks Dave, no injuries except my pridr. I got hung up on my driveway(300 foot up the hill behind the f150) and was using my come-a-long to winch it back in the road. Come-a-long broke. Truck rolled down hill, over a bluff, then to the creek. No one injured. Vehicle was empty. 24k damage. They wouldn't total it because of current market values ?. It worked out in the end. I traded the truck for more than book value.

I could get a tune but I'm more than happy with the factory output of the ranger and the fuel economy! Plus t 39 I don't need another truck to drive like a stock car, I need to remember I teach high school, I'm not in it lol.

Glad to hear no one (except your pride) was hurt. I had one of those moments years ago too. I was backing my work trailer up my driveway and was in a hurry to go meet someone. Thought I put it in P and jumped out and it started going forward into a tree. Good thing it was only a few feet and the only thing it messed up was the front bumper. If the trailer wasn't attached I would've been farther up the driveway and it would've gained more speed and looked like yours in the woods. Live and learn I guess.:headbang:

You're never to old for more power. lol There's a post I made just after getting mine where I said I wouldn't tune it because it has plenty of power and I'd just get myself int trouble. Guess what I bought about 8 months later.?

I sold my 2015 Taurus with 18,000 miles to make room for the new truck when it gets here. Then my 06 Ranger will be sold in anticipation of retiring in a few years.
How do you like the Taurus? Haven t driven a Taurus since 02 model but really like the design & style of last gen Taurus

I gave up my 2001 Silverado 2500 4x4 with the 8.1 liter (10mpg) engine. Happy to report that my Ranger pulls my Minnie Winnie TT just as good. RT from KC to Phoenix recently and the Ranger handled the grades just fine.

I traded my '14 F150 (XLT CC 4X4) for my Ranger. It was a low milage (47000) 5.0 V8. It was the vehicle I had owned for the longest (7 yrs.) in my life and an excellent truck which I loved but I was due something new and I had my eye on the Rangers for a couple of years.
I like the Ranger even better, though, and I'm glad I traded. :sunglasses:

We have been a Jeep family for the most part except for my 250 Truck which after 15 years is still going strong.
I ended up trading in my Jeep Trailhawk for the 2022 Ranger.

I had a 2000 Mazda B3000 (3.0L V6 / 5 spd Manual) Ranger clone which was starting to threaten my savings a little bit too often. Transmission didn't like to go into first gear any more, paint was shot, passenger window was distorted (aftermarket glass?), lots of little plastic bits were starting to come apart, and the driver seat back lock broke, so I had to stuff pillows in it to drive. I bought it 8 years ago for $4500, so it was a good run.

I also sold my 2020 Subaru Crosstrek Premium (which I loved) for $4000 more than I paid for it. I needed a pickup for doing various things around the yard and the house. Home Depot is my second home. So after scouting the market, including used Tacos, the Ranger was unbeatable. I spec'd one out on Ford.com, and when I went to my local dealer to take a look they had the exact truck I had spec'd, including the color, option packages, and everything, except it was 4x4, which I didn't really need. But I drove it, and loved it. My wife said, let's just buy it! What a gal!
