2005 F150 XLT Supercab 4x4 to a 2022 Ranger XLT Supercrew 4x4 . . .

F150 was very BAD on gas and a nightmare to park around the city. Ranger is plenty of truck for me.
In some ways the current Ranger is even better than the F-150. A fully loaded 6,000lb U-Haul 6x12 utility trailer is within Ford's towing guide on a new (+19) Ranger, but not for the F-150 (2005 or even 2021). For years the F-150 has been limited to 5,000lb without a weight distribution hitch, but most owners ignore that.

First gen Tundra 4.7. Extremely dependable 20yr old but looking back completely boring to drive compared to this truck.

I let go of all my hopes and dreams of ever getting my July 2020 reservation for a Bronco .

....and my '07 F-150 .

At least you got a good place holder with the Ranger. I did talk to the Ford Bronco "specialist" last Thursday and she said they are trying hard to clear all the '22 orders up. Mine is in 99 status, I should've just left mine open but once I bought the Jeep I thought maybe I'd like it better. But as soon as the '23 order banks open up I'm putting mine back in. That's why Ford put a freeze on new orders and dealer transfers back in March so hopefully yours gets built this year.

Traded in my '07 (LMM) Chevrolet 2500 HD LTZ Z71. I loved this truck and that Duramax/Alison combo was beastly, reliable, and never gave me any issues. But my days of hauling people + field gear + heavy work boats/barges are pretty much behind me. Nowadays, the boats I haul are smaller/lighter, and the bed space in the ranger is plenty for what I do. I do miss that 6.5' bed. The size of the Ranger is just a better fit for me now.

The Tacoma I was happy to get rid of as it had some rust and was going to be a nightmare if I ever wanted to off-road it.

I miss the heck out of the E90, however. One of my favorite cars I have owned. Absolute money pit though between maintenance and go fast mods haha.

Trading in this bad boy for my Ranger.

I traded in a 2019 MINI Cooper hardtop after eighteen months of ownership for this truck (which was already used with 14k miles on it and some minor bumper scrapes there) back in 2020.

Yeah, that 4.0 was fun...pulled out a lot of stumps and bushes, hauled a ton (literally, many times, pic of 1 ton 2B red stone, also hauled 54 cement blocks, twice, for my garage extension). Brand new Michelins when I sold it, a real shame. My 93 white SCab was a 3.0 stick, it was a dog in comparison. My 89 white STX SCab I think had a 4 banger, 2.3 maybe, also stick. That was a nice truck. But I think I like the 2019 best, except I didn't get white, was awestruck by hot pepper red...

Makes me miss the 2002 I had with 4WD, 5MT, 4.0 and the 4.10. Sucker could go up almost anything without flinching (compared to the 1998 I had before with the 3.73 (or 3.55, can't remember), and 3.0/5MT)

Traded 2009 JK with ~190,000 miles for a 2019 FX4 XLT Ranger. The 3.8L was a ticking time bomb and I wanted more towing capabilities.
