based on the second images (after your post) I would say another dash board mount for something.

That was going to be my next guess.There's no chance of guessing this part as it only applies to my truck...specifically, the front ground camera...works great but occasionally, car wash or wind at highway speeds would deflect it's aim down, making it useless...so this gadget is to keep that from happening...

I use Autodesk Alias Autostudio...same program that I use for my day job...
