Those who installed lower grill guard as this blocks it off, what do you do to access block heater cord?
I just left mine where it was. I have never used it in my previous vehicle either. Temps here in eastern Canada this year were quite cold, down to the mid -20's C., on many occasions and mine started up no problem.

Has anyone here replaced their Tremor rails with Go Rhino RB10s or RB20s? If so, can you please confirm that they don't stick out so far that they also tear up your legs if you step out without using the step?

Little repair today. Recently I got too close to a stump or rock don't know actually. I just discovered a nice upwards dent in the underside of the bed in front of the rear bumper. Thankfully it didn't go beyond the OEM rockguard "textured" area at the bottom.
This morning I took a hammer and dolly and massaged it back as close as I could. I didn't want to go to the trouble of using body filler at this time so I masked both sides, prepped then painted with Rustoleum bed liner coating. It's thick and the matte finish helped to hide the fact that it isn't exactly perfect. You can still see it a little while kneeling down but not while standing next to the truck.
Guess I did ok and it kinda looks good.

I worked in a body shop years ago and we always had trucks come in and ask us to paint or linex type paint the bottom portion of the rockers and trim like this. I can attest, not only does this look great, but it also protects the bottom from rock chips. And if you do get a big chip in it, it's easy to touch up without noticing ;)

Looks great and you did a great job :like:

Huge shoutout to @UnregistredHypercam2 and @Nopalito for their assistance getting this bumper installed. There are a few tweaks that need to be made, but it's drivable.

A couple things that need to be finished:
1. The ARB skid makes contact with the tow points. I will need to grind slots in the skid to clear the tow points.
2. Reinstall the fog light wiring harness and connect the fogs. We ran out of time and energy.
3. Wire in the outside the fogs lighting. I don't know what they look like, but its a power and ground on each side. Easy Peasy.
4. There is a plate on top, that doesn't do anything structural but makes it really hard to put the winch trigger in the controller. I think I am just going to cut it off. Or relocate the control box.
5. Actually adjust the bumper angle so it matches the fender line.
6. Install all the underneath panels.

It sounds like a lot, but should really be just a day's work.

If you’re going to off road or wheel at all I’d strongly recommend considering going with a true frame mounted slider. Extra protection on the rockers is never a bad idea. If you sent the rocket and door area you could be in for a very expensive repair.

I am certain to go off pavement, but I have no intention to do any hardcore rock crawling or anything like that.

Thanks for the photo. That looks really good and doesn't appear that it would be in the way stepping down.
I usually don't use the steps, in or out, and getting out sometimes rub the pants leg (no shorts here in PA right now!). On 2 years and no rust yet (they are carbon steel, and there's no adjustment in mounting).

Installed the LightForce panel for the extra switches and for the trailer brake controller knob.

Wired the switch lighting to my ambient lighting which is on Aux6. If anyone is curious the switch lighting draws .037 amps at 12VDC.

Prewired the switch wiring out towards the fuse box with a connector so I don't have to take everything back apart again. Ran the brake controller wire out to the fuse box so its ready to install the trailer brake modules. I'll tackle that at a later date.

The 12VDC outlets are a PITA to get out of the stock panel. The clips that hold them in place are brittle. I wish I would have just ordered an extra set, not much more money and would save a ton of grief. In the end I just forced them out and put a small dab of 5 min epoxy to secure them on the new panel. Now they are permanent.

Looks good!

For the 12volt outlets - look inside and you will see a tab that engages with the metal surround. From the inside, push the tab out with a pick tool. While holding that, slide the metal piece out. Once that it separated, the plastic part comes out easily as the tabs locking it in the panel can now bend in. Following this process in reverse makes reinstalling these outlets much easier.

I went with the RB20s because I like the look. It took a wile to get the exit method down so the skin on my legs stays put. They do stick out some and are pretty rough finish. Mine have the linex coating.

Started my mods as soon as my parts arrived.

1) Added a console organizer
2) Replaced the floor mats with WeatherTech laser cut
3) Added Ford black stainless tailgate letters and hopefully got them close to level ?
4) Added a DeeZee tailgate damper
5) Removed the factory Tremor rails due to losing all the skin off of the back of my legs

Hey Mark, you gotta stop wearing these…

…for a lot more reasons than just saving the back of your legs. ??
