My old buddy from Texas came to visit and he was driving his old man truck, had lunch and drinks.

So I did some accessorizing on my truck. I tinted windows(including windshield) legal here. Window vent visors, hood visor, xenon bulbs in high beam and yellow fogs. The final touch was a roll up locking bed cover. Washed and cleaned all up today.

Thanks Jack. Real estate on roof racks comes at a premium. That should be a great spot for solar panels - about 8 sq ft - so, is the general rule of 10 watts per sq ft still a thing or has that improved lately? Sounds like a fun project.

My Jackery 100W panels are closer to 17w/sq ft if I did the math right, but I only estimated the actual panel area from overall dimensions, so it may be a little better, perhaps more like 20w/sq ft.

Of course, that is the advertised output likely in a lab. In practice when aimed right on a sunny day I get about 90w from the panel, so I'd say 15W/sq ft is safe to say now. I still want to get different panels that are weatherproof though, but these panels are what came with the Explorer 1500 Solor Gen kit.

Started my mods as soon as my parts arrived.

1) Added a console organizer
2) Replaced the floor mats with WeatherTech laser cut
3) Added Ford black stainless tailgate letters and hopefully got them close to level ?
4) Added a DeeZee tailgate damper
5) Removed the factory Tremor rails due to losing all the skin off of the back of my legs
