Wait, you were driving mostly 70 in the city?
Yeah its san antonio, there's freeways that gets around the city. With traffic and slow drivers, and short drives, I don't consider it to be higway

So you can expect a HP increase no matter which of the Livernois tunes you decide to run?

Yes you'll get a hp/tq gain with all of them and the most with the 91-93 performance tune.

Just pulled down the V4 last night. Will be driving it today and can report back. I notice that every time I flash a tune the shifting is rough for a bit (expected), smooths out perfectly, then over time starts to get jerky and clunky til I can't stand it anymore.

Anyone else had a similar experience?
Well the V4 soft shift feels very similar to the previous iterations. Hope it stays relatively smooth. Will update on the trans fluid once I get a nice weather day.

I was going to get an extended warranty but reading this I think I'd rather the tune from these guys. Maybe I can get a discount for just getting an extended warranty on non-powertrain items. I tried to contact flood and got an error on the website. Best of both! Maybe?!

Thanks for messing with my head on which way to go with this truck. Power with smoother shifting or piece of mind in the long run. (But also boost is fun so I'm leaning towards power)

I have zero faith in the dealers near me to cover anything powertrain if they see the PCM screwed with; blaming it on the extra power.

Can't claim that if the BCM or ABS pump dies.

That and the wife is already annoyed with the small stuff I've done with a truck that doesn't even have permanent plates on it yet....

Yes, and octane matters on your overall gains and mpg.
I would like to maintain decent MPG, gain some HP, and not have to always buy higher octane.

I bought a warranty this week. I've been running the tune for 17K miles. It's been beat to death on here but they have to prove the tune caused the failure. If the AC compressor fails they can't blame that on the tune. I bought it mainly for the electronic stuff like that display screen an the HVAC problem a few people have had.

The tune will give you more HP. Just a little more hp and mpg with higher octane. You will get varies tune that you can select from.

I have the Livernois tunes and you can use the 87-89 performance tune and you will get more HP, torque and the truck will really wake up.

You get access to all tunes or you get pick X amount?
You get their 5 included but may have to request they send them to you. I've read where guys have had changes made to a tune an getting it for free.
