Nice! I had been debating the folding up one from Bestop or Amp, but high price is keeping me from pulling the trigger.
This is reasonable!
Just yesterday I could have used it!

Can you post another pic of a rear view with tailgate up?

Rear view, and view from top corner of bed...step barely protrudes out more than an inch...no way your going to bump yourself unless you try.
Not as "visually" exciting as the lights, add-ons, ect. But for pure functionally this is hard to beat.

I'm assuming the install is easy, 2 bolts and done?

Yup...two bolts that are holding the trailer hitch on (there are 3). Bolt comes out leaving a captive/welded nut on top of frame. Helps if you have a 1/2 inch impact wrench (I do) cause those bolts are on there TIGHT. Took me 2 minutes to install.
All steel with an aluminum step pad that has a "cheese grated" finish. Powdered coated.

Cheapest I found was Parts Geek...63.98 plus 10.95 shipping. Had it in 4 days.

If I had one of those special printers that cut out any type of font, I'll cover up the top light with a black adhesive that spells out R A N G E R. The middle would be XLT/ LARIAT/ XL. The bottom could be the year. Or left as is.

It'll look as if the letters are lit up. Sadly I don't have such a device.

I've seen the Ford oval logo lit up. (Front and back) The letters F O R D lit up in the grill, and a few other places on the vehicle. Sadly I don't have the means to make something unique for a one of a kind look.

I'm sure they're legal and an added safety feature!

Do you have more information on this? It's something I have been looking at since bed mats are alittle scarce right now.

Tractor Supply calls them stall mats then you have to trim to fit with a razor knife.

Mine is a tie between the rubber bed mat and swing out toolbox. I got the swing out toolbox on sale, or it would have technically been over $100. I love the bed mat though, keeps stuff from sliding around, keeps bed from getting dented up, and helps with road and cargo noise(at least it seems to me)

Got the Dee Zee step in yesterday, and mounted it today.
This is the best $75 bucks I've spent. Left foot on step and up onto tailgate.
My old creaky knees are sighing with relief.
