Yes or No on disabling fake engine noise?

Can we or can we not disable the fake engine noise in Forscan.
Getting ready to install an amp and new speakers all the way around.
I put sound deadening in my front doors so the front speakers seem less loud(??) cuz the sound isn't bouncing around inside the doors anymore.
Any and all help to where to find it in Forscan would be greatly appreciated

This has been addressed many times. recommend you use the search function of fake engine noise and also search the Forscan Wikw threads.

Sound does not bother me so no help from me on things forscan.

I tried can't get right to a quick and simple answer.?
It just takes me to my stupid misspelled post.
I just want to know where it is in Forscan and what it's called.

Same here...I'm not on WOT constantly for it to bother me...when I am, I'm too busy looking the shrinking challenger in the rear view mirror...?

Thanks. I seriously have no idea what wiki and all that stuff means so this helps immensely.
I'm on "post 18" of "66" trying to find it. Idk how I missed it, but I'm far from computer literate on some things

For the record, for my XLT it was already disabled.

IMHO, I like the sound the engine makes naturally much better than the "enhanced" sound.

Hmm. .I got an XLT also. I may go in there and find out it's also disabled.
But before I install my amp and speakers it will help to know upfront. Thx

I disabled mine an thought it made a noticeable improvement. I don't remember how but it was easy. I watched a video on youtube of it being done on a ranger an there was no sound. I watched a video of it done to an F150 an I believe it's the same module an porcedure.

My two cents...

I Absolutely disabled it. Makes no sense to me why one might want to play fake engine sounds through the speakers. I have a 2020 Lariat and it made a difference turning it off.

..but remember I'm from Canada, we got rid of pennies years ago and just round up or down. So..two cents really=0.

I never noticed fake engine sounds. My F150 Lariat EB and Focus RS had it and I disabled it. The RS fake sound was ridiculous.
