The connector was correct fit and didn't work, or was the wrong connector? You can use a multimeter to check for continuity. Also maybe a dumb question but did you flip the connector to reverse the pins as these are polarity sensitive? Otherwise perhaps you have a bent pin?Well, I started to add my Diode Dynamics lights to the truck, but ran into problems.
A-pillar lights installed fine, and I have to say that their mounting bracket is a bit more engineered than being simply a piece of bent metal. Even have cutouts for the zip ties used to guide the wires. Dunno if they’re worth the $80 or so, but at least it doesn’t feel like something I could do myself.![]()

The fog lights, however, were a different story. Sure, there’s the standard pains of getting to them, but that’s been discussed well enough I don’t need add to it. Instead, my real problem was that one of the wiring adapters, used to connect the light into the factory harness, didn’t work. Sent a message to the vendor, and should hear back on Monday. Even still, it’ll probably be after the holiday before the replacement arrives. And troubleshooting this whole ordeal cut into the time I had available, and soon I couldn’t keep the wife and kids at bay long enough to finish. So I’ve got one stock fog in place, and one SS3 one.
Joy.

I installed the Max version a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier with them. I also have the ditch lights and brackets but haven't installed yet. Good to hear your positive feedback on them.
