As Bob said, the Eibachs are height adjustable. I have the stage 2s all around with the fronts set at about 2 inchs of lift to level the truck. Have been very happy with the results. Handling is some improved due to the lack of bounce and losing the willowy feeling the truck originally had. I...
Still going strong. I did finally get the Eibach Pro coilovers on the front but ran the tires on stock suspension for at least a month. They are load range E which I think is the only option at that size. I was ok with that, as here in New England we have a lot of rocks that I have seen puncture...
Throw a set of Eibachs on. You'll be surprised at the difference for not a huge outlay. I've got the 2.o front and rear and I have to say the rears made the most difference in making the truck feel more planted and stable.
I would second the reccomendation for the Eibach 2.0s. Not to take anything away from the Fox units but I have used their products on snowmobiles and motorcycles and they do need regular rebuilds to maintain there useful lifespans. I can't speak to the eibachs rebuildability but they do come...
Hauled home a new air compressor. After much research and reviews I picked up a Central pneumatic 29 gal. 2 hp oil lubed compressor from Harbor freight. Funny thing is this has gotten great long term reviews (one guy had a 10 yr review on youtube) but Harbor Freight is discontinuing this model...
Same here. Go for days and then bam, like a deflated tire. Occaisionally I'll be working on something and about half way trhough the day all my energy is gone and I'm a couch potato! Guess I'm not 26 anymore!
Yes, I am one of those. Had Covid twice in 2020 and 2021. Still have some days that I just run out of steam midday and some strange vertigo and other symptoms that pop up from time to time. Hope you have an easy time of it Trevor and get better soon.
I used the Nano Spray. I also bought the detailer for quick touch ups later. I did pretty much the same thing, 4-5 sprays on the applicator. I think the hot sun made things a little harder to buff off but it really wasn't that hard. I'm just not as young as I used to be! It does look REALLY good! ?
Thanks Chris. I have to admit, I love this thing. 16,000 trouble free miles, getting 23-24 mpg, goes when you step on it and draws looks everywhere. What more could you ask for!
Welp, fell for another of AzScorpion's shameless sales pitches. Washed the truck and gave 303 Graphene sealer a try. Here's my take: 1) unlike most waxes, polishes etc. this does not have any cleaning affect. I had a few places that had some water spotting and the spray didn't touch them. Went...
Been away from the forum for awhile. Not much to do on the truck during New england winters!
Finally after 6 months, got the front Eibach 2.0s installed! Dealer had been short staffed due to Covid and I wasn't pushing them. Have to say very happy with the upgrade. Gave it a quick bath today and...
Bandsaws do work nicely. I have a horizontal metal bandsaw that converts to verticle which I made a table for doing handwork. Best thing I ever got for metal was a smal plasma cutter. Torches have been sitting idle ever since! I've got the yellows and a green but the reds are lost somewhere.
Hey Phil. I do have left handed tin snips! And I'm old enough to remember left hand thread lugnuts on Chrysler products. But alas the left handed vice grips continue to elude...
