Today I learned that I have power folding mirrors...never even realized it until I read this conversation.

I think the power seats are only partial too, the backs are manual adjusted correct? Only the bottom seat position/lumbar are powered? Or have I missed something else on my truck?
Yes, the recline is a manual lever.

Dude the XLT is the mid range model almost identical to the lariat without the Led lights and heated seats and no navigation. Big whoopee do. Oh and it uses a key. No big loss
I heard that the LED lights cost $1800 to replace and you can buy light insurance from Ford. Uh, no thanks.

I love my 2021 XLT. It has just about everything I need/want. The only thing I wish the XLT had that the Lariat has is the built in garage door opener in the sun visor. That would have been a nice feature but definitely not a deal breaker either. I like cloth seats versus leather and my seats are power along with the power folding mirrors. No complaints at this point!

Keyless ignition is death in a run away accelerator situation. KeepTheKey#
9 out of 10 people are going to panic no matter, key or keyless !!!
You loose pwr brakes and pwr steering if you shut down.
Throw it in neutral and apply brakes, still pwr.....and you still have the pwr steering.
Majority of drivers, now-a-days, do not realize how hard it is to steer or brake without the pwr on.
And if you have a keyed ignition, and really panic, and remove the key as most are used to doing, then steering locks.

What it funny is that failed power steering is actually harder than manual steering, which is logical but just something you dont think about till you loose it.

My main reason for enjoying the key is that we camp and RV so often that I never felt quite comfortable with the keyless ignition our Honda Pilot has in those situations. Never stopped us from enjoying ourselves but was in the back of my mind.

The other thing too was car jackings, supposedly it is not very hard to boost a keyless entry key signal and drive off with your vehicle. Just stuff I kept in the back of my head. I miss keyless ignition sometimes but I also enjoy having a key.

I cannot stand keyless ignition at all.....I see no benefit after using it in my wife's 2020 Escape for seven months now. So glad my 2019 Ranger XLT doesn't have that!

2019 XLT here. Only thing that i would have liked from the Lariat would’ve been the headlights and remote start. I prefer manual seats and I have power folding mirrors. I wanted the truck for off-roading/overlanding so I didn’t care for the leather.
I hear you can remote start via fordpass app even if XLT doesn't have remote starter.

Wow. I can't stand using keys to unlock and start vehicles now since I got my 2017 accord hybrid touring and now lariat. Never need to remove or use key from pocket at all as I can unlock and lock on door handle and accord trunk. Push start is my favorite thing.

I just took a regular GD opener that i picked up from Amazon for $10, put some double sided sticky tape on it and put it on the upper left side rear of the little cubby under the climate controls. You can't see it at all, takes up no room on the floor of the cubby but if you reach in there and pull back you hit the button every time. Works perfectly.

Mind linking it? Curious about it. My remotes are huge. I park on the driveway too so something discrete would be nice.

It's just one of these cheap ones. Popped it in right up at the top, can't see it from the seat and I had to get this pic from under the steering wheel.

If you wanted super discrete stick it to the roof of the glovebox hole.
