You’re so right Rick - a good single malt and a premium Bourbon aren’t that different on the sipping scale - maybe there’s a whisky appreciation night that needs to take place. ???

Mid 80's today and partly cloudy. Still swamp-ass humid enough to have me swapping out sweat bands every hour though.

I am almost done with the retaining wall though! I also started raking out a lot of larger rock. Which I will just use in my drainage paths.

Also, don't make fun of my wall. It ain't the prettiest but its level (maybe not perfectly square...) and I plan to hide imperfections with capping blocks. lol

We're finally getting a good monsoon season here in the west valley, the last 2 years were nonsoons. Flagstaff got hit really hard along with the Grand Canyon where the Colorado River flooded the camp areas and washed away peoples sites. There was also a Prius spotted floating down a street in Flagstaff.

Here in VA the past several days have been miserable. High nineties with high humidity. I am naturally a sweaty person and 5 minutes outside in this kind of weather and I'm soaked.

I just bought a new to me side-by-side 4 wheeler and I need to do my initial power washing and once over of all the bolts and pushpins, etc. Not sure that's going to get done today though.

Yes I hate Summer. High humidity and 80s or higher doesn't do well for me. Fall and Winter are my best time of year.
