I've decided to remove my red tow hooks and get my old black ones powder coated to a gun metal'ish color that comes closer to the bumper and grill color. The red hooks on my rapid red truck just didn't look right to me after a while.
I have friends with trucks that could handle the other 5%. Or with the $10k or more savings I could (as others have said) rent a truck and still have a lot of pizza and beer money left over. Or do as the Navy taught me and buy my friends pizzas and beers after we use their trucks. ?
Made a standing divider between the wheel wells and the tailgate to keep the sandbags in place. It has already been an improvement on the wet roads, bring on the snow.
I finally purchased a new Sasquatch decal since the last one had a leg ripped off while someone (I’m guessing) tried to steal it. I purchased a backup just in case. ? Also added a Navy Retired decal.
I just picked up my truck (had red tow hooks purchased and installed) and the dealer took my email address and used it to apply to my bill balance, my FordPass app on my phone updated immediately.
Yep, leveled. I got the 2" ReadyLift leveling kit, purchased from and installed by my Ford dealer. I basically have a Rapid Red version of your truck, with the KO2's. Agreed, the torque plus the wet make them break loose easily but I still love the tires for everything else. Less rain in Boise I...
It cost $480 installed that’s including the alignment after and getting the headlights adjusted. The dealer did give me a 5% military discount.
It rides great and seems to have gotten some of the bounce out of the front. Just my humble two cents. I haven’t been off road in any capacity yet.
Peeled my Sasquatch (see my profile photo) sticker off the back window of the cab. Someone decided they wanted it and got as far as part of one leg before they realized it was too stretch out….so they ripped that leg off. People…..am I right? Ugh!
Purchased and installed a ReadyLift 2” leveling kit through my Ford dealer. Yep, they also did the alignment and adjusted the headlights. I like it, a little bit of rake, just like I wanted.
It was through Ford and yes I have. It includes everything I’m worried about, electronics and/or power train. I’m far from new to this game and the last two times I had extended warranties on my Mustangs they paid for themselves. One a couple times over.
I bought my 2020 Ranger used and it had 3800 miles on it. I bought the Ford extended bumper to bumper warranty only after declining the $2000+ cost. I told the finance person it was too much…..those magic words give the finance person the authority to apply discounts. I can’t remember the years...
