It feels like Arizona here - 112 yesterday, 114 today - tomorrow is supposed to be "only" 108.

I will be glad when this heat dome moves east.....

I'm trying to retire too but this site doesn't help and now getting a Bronco will be another money pit. I'm just glad the building boom is now because I can now work less and make more.

Not sure if you were ever up in Estrella Mountain Ranch before you left? Now they are building all up the hill by the Start Point tower and way out back there is Canta Mia. That has now built all the way out to Willis Rd and down towards Rainbow Valley Rd.

When you do decide to come back the first dinner and drinks are on me! ???

I’ll take you up on that for sure. Wow - that area is really getting built up. I’ve always been impressed with how fast things develop in the valley. I bet it loops around the back of the Estrellas and the South Mountain Preserves to Ak-Chin and Chandler in time. No shortage of work, that’s for sure. I’ll be down there for some cold beer in due time. ??

37/38°c(98/100°f) Thursday.
Winter is -40°c/°f. So it's not great. But it is dry which helps. We just aren't use to it. We wear shorts with two feet of snow.

Edit: one place in BC was 47.5°c (117.5°f). Gross.

Topped out at 109 here. Epic heat for the PNW. 3rd day in a row supposed to be in the mid 90's tomorrow. We are heat wimps here not everyone has A/C like a lot of other parts of the country
