I really want a bigger tire and am willing to modify the crash bars but the loss in mileage kills me as it is my daily. Let's see those 285/70/17s and hopefully you can help me persuade myself.

For some reason I can't post mine. But I ha e 285x70x17 which is a 33x11.5 on a 0mm offset wheel and with that offset and 2.5 level you need to remove the back crash bars and modify or remove the fronts.

I've got a 25 offset on some icons I wonder how close that is to a spacer on the stock wheels.

18 to 25mm seems to be the sweet spot from what I've seen. 0mm icon rebounds are what I have.

Factory offset is +55

25 offset would basically be a factory wheel with a 1.25” (?) spacer.

1” = 25mm

I ran factory wheels with 2” spacer which made them effectively 5+ offset.
