mine seemed the same too. Maybe slightly faster at start up. Did take 30 minutes to install. 2019 Ranger Lariat.
Ettt! Long drive yesterday. Seemed fine but went back to snapping a split 1/2 second off numbered highway. All else normal; Sheesh.Same as others. About 20-25 mins. Went smooth. Went for a ride to test out the gps voice instructions to see if it was cutting short and no more cuts. What I didn't realize that it was cutting off more than I thought. It would seem to not cut short the last number of a highway like left on 321 ettt! The one was spoken and abruptly ended. Never dawned on me it was not just being short with the numbers. It left the whole compass direction off, . i.e. 321 North... Now all my turns that have a direction on the route, it says the direction properly too. Go figure huh?
PM me the street name. I can run a demo route and see if it's something specific to that street. I know one particular exit on my route to work can sound like it's cut off a tad from the TTS.

Went to Ford site to get update, and it returned this message: "Your SYNC system (SYNC3 v3.4.20136) is up to date." .. What/where is this "Oasis" everybody keeps mentioning??
Oasis is the program dealerships use. Some large fleet customers and repair shops may also have access through a paid subscription or some other means.
If you have a 2020, then you would have been delivered the truck with this version already. However, those with the 19s needed to update their own (even many of the late 19 models shipped with it already flashed)
I bought my Ranger in January 2020 -- as I said, it shows that I have SYNC3 v3.4.20136 and doesn't show any available update. I'm not going to worry about it -- I'm sure it will update whenever Ford gets around to me..
Welp. That's one check against the service department manager at my dealership. He told me that all 2020s had the newer firmware and wouldn't need the update...
