My Ranger took my son and I fishing. Picked up these nice west central Florida 20
Inchers today. We told the trout we would take them for a ride in a gen 5 Ranger and they practically jumped in the boat...apparently all the fish are talking about our trucks too?!

Haha...nice truck but how did you get one that's not white in FL?? Thought that was a law down there...my 2 sisters are west of Gainesville near Chiefland, on the Suwannee River. We go to Cedar Key when we visit them, nice, on the Gulf.

Sadly, I only went for a crawl at the mall. In my defence, I was almost out of single malt and Canadian Rye.

Finished installing the Ford/Redarc OEM Trailer Brake Controller. I haven't tested it yet, but did hook it up to my trailer, and it gave me a blue light, then a flashing red light. Looks like I have a bad ground lead on trailer 7-pin. Everything else seems to check out. Likely some corrosion, as I didn't use the trailer this year due to the lockdowns. :(

Your truck looks great even in an underground parking lot. It looks like you were front shackleless. Are they off, more than on? Did you find any snow?

Thanks, the Mall Crawl was Wednesday, the day before the shackles were installed - they'll stay on unless they fall off. Didn't get to the cottage - waiting for some Christmas gifts to be delivered so I can take them to Mom - the cottage is in my home town, Kincardine - on Lake Huron, so it gets tons of lake effect snow each year. Likely later this week. Hoping for some good pics.

The lovely wife and I drove an hour away and purchased a like new curio cabinet. Brought it home and got it inside before the rain started coming down.

This is our 6th curio cabinet and it's our biggest one. (40" X 83" X 13") This one is going to be for family photos and other antique items recovered from Dad's house after he passed away last year.

Yeah, we're going to be sore in the morning, not so lol.

I had the day off so I could do some errands and it gave me a chance to drive the Ranger. (I'm usually in my company vehicle or the wife's Escape)

Early morning picture...

It now has over 500 miles on it. :D I put gas in it for the 2nd time this evening and made a picture of the MPG. I guess it's pretty good.

Today I traded the stock FX4 suspension (front coilvers, rear shocks, as well as a 2.5" RC lift) to a guy for a welder. He threw in a mask, little cart, some extra spools of wire, new tips, and a few other things.

I've never welded anything in my life. I know this is a pretty low power welder, but it should be good enough for me to learn.

Also, it *is* almost time for that white elephant gift exchange at work... everyone is gonna get a terrible mug hook tree made out of scrap bed frames or something this year. ?

The family and I spent the weekend camping at Bear Head Hammock Campground in the Withlacoochee State Forest. The spots are too close to a main road, so you can hear traffic at all hours of the night. The early morning fog was fantastic.

Can’t say enough about the CVT MT. Shasta. Even in 46 degrees I only needed a sleeping bag to keep me warm.

Palm trees, tall pines, sandy roads, white truck, looks like Fl except no wild pigs! Nice rig...
