Just updated to Sync 3.4 on my Ranger 2019

Got the update installed.
About 20 minutes total.
Climate controls still there!
But now Carplay will NOT launch. ?
All the mobile apps work (Pandora, iHeart Radio, etc.) but no Carplay.
I removed it and re-added on my phone, all settings are configured for it to launch on connect, but it doesn't even show up on the Home screen.
I'll have to dig into this later.
Edit: It apparently just needed a full shutdown/restart as when I just went back out to the truck and plugged in my phone it came right up.
So far it looks like a very nice update and it does indeed feel snappier.

Unfortunately I had lost climate when I did the cyan update. Using this official update did not restore it. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and get FORScan unless someone comes up with a solution.

Mine gave the option of OTA with Wifi.
Don't know if it would work with the built in hotspot though.
I used USB since I have a Sync USB set aside just for updates.

I was able to update to 3.4 and it took about 30 minutes.
I'm not seeing much speed improvement, the UI is obvioulsy different but I'm not sure it's better (need more time with it).
I did see where it reports my Map is 117. It was upgraded to 118 and (I think) 119 (I still have not been able to successfully load the Voice Nav file tho). I'm pretty sure the map is different.....there are some local updates that I have not seen before so I must presume 119 is loaded. Why Sync is reporting 117 is beyond me (that was supposed to be fixed in 3.4!!). I will try a master reset but I am not convinced Ford has a robust enough map load routine (I've had nothing but incomplete results).

Hmmm, I just did the update and my climate controls are missing. I've never done any updates other than those issued by Ford. It's showing Sync 3.4, Build 20136_Product.
And as Geoff noted above, my maps are also showing NA 117.
PS: Tried to get in a chat session with Ford, and the wait time is 37 minutes! Yikes.

The location prompt bug still exists and the Carplay mic is still broken.

First try on mine it ran about 40 minutes, then said it failed and to re-download, but appearance is definitely 3.4.
Re-downloaded and tried a different flash drive. It ran for over an hour, still updating. Pulled the drive and it says it will resume the update when plugged back in. Shut everything down, waited a while and tried again. Ran about 30 minutes and completed. I don't have the .xml file to upload though.
