Hi guys.

I'm the owner of Ranger 2020 XLT with Oem 8' Sync 3. Some months ago i upgraded to sync 3.4 2388 but here is were i have a question. I enabled "testmode" and some options enabled are for "nav" features like satellite positions and signal measure from satellites. Currently, my Sync 3 doesn't have Oem nav features, so i use my Celular with Android Auto to enable NAV from google. So, my cuestion is: Can i enable NAV make the upgrading again to my Sync 3.4 but including the NAV features version?

Thanks!

I would honestly just stick with using android auto on your phone... i have the factory nav and its slow, not to mention i refuse to pay ford 200 bucks to update the maps... I almost never use it

I read somewhere that the non-nav units couldn't be upgraded to include nav because there isn't enough memory in them to store maps and such.

Not to mention almost 20 years outdated when shipped. Tried to use car play one time and phone and truck refused to play nicely so I used the built in navigation. It took me down a road that I don't go down because part of if closed in the early 2000s. Sure enough, it was trying to route me onto the closed section and I had to reroute a way that I knew was open.
