went to one of the local Ford dealers today... they didn't have what I wanted few XL's or XLT's. Inquired on some XLT's at another dealer. Mainly I am wanting white. Magnetic or Blue with the off road package, sort of wanting the 8 inch LCD . Haven't talked to the 2nd dealer they had some in the 38k range. I think the 2019's will have 3k in rebates 2k ford cash, 1k loyalty. neither dealer has anything used.

Local Toyota dealer has one I'm going to look at Friday https://www.streettoyota.com/inventory/used-2019-ford-ranger-4wd-crew-cab-pickup-1fter4fh9kla09085

Thoughts on it?

Looks like what you described you were looking for, price is very subjective to the individual but looks fair given the mileage, its basically a lariat.

38,800ish OTD on a Lariat FX4. 501a, chrome pack, chrome runners, Ford spray liner, and a bunch of other crap the dealer "already installed." mid 44,000 MSRP with 2,800 dealer installed nonsense that I got down to 300. OTD tax price lowered with a trade valued at high 12,000 that they shorted me on but their discounts were enough to make up for it compared to other dealers.

Looks like 2019 XLTs are getting a rebate/incentive boost for March, just took a looksee at some dealer sites, its not as deep as the November/December deals, but with dealer discounts around 8k off-ish.

When I was shopping last month the XLT had specific discounts as well such as 2.9 APR and I think maybe an extra rebate. Seems that must be the slower selling trim.

I got a fully loaded XLT nearly a Lariat, but W/O the leather seats for $35037 + T/L and lifetime power train warranty and 3 years of oil changes. $6,073.00 discount off MSRP.

Nice! I'm all over the place and none of the dealers here are making me think seriously about buying, so i'm keeping my powder dry for now.

It seems most of the forum is located in the PNW and you're in Texas, have you looked into a car buying service that will shop around the country for you?

If you've heard of Jalopnik, Tom McParland is the one who writes most of the car buying articles and he has a purchasing service you could check out. AutomatchConsulting.com

I have zero affiliation and do not know anyone who has used his services I just wanted to present the option.

What’s ironic here is that I’m in WA and had to buy in Texas to find a decent deal (and dealer).
